Dealer wanted $900 for 30k check up on our van. Ouch!! The guys at AMC were substantially less and got me in and out in less than 4 hours with an appointment. Special note. They do provide a nice warranty on work performed especially since this was my first time having them do work for me.

Came in with a supercharger issue on a Chevy Equinox that was flubbed by another shop. They fixed the problem, and identified a weird rattle that had been plaguing the car as an alternator issue, giving me the option to fix that, too, which I declined. Soon after getting the car back, the alternator went out completely, and they got that turned around quickly as well. Their documentation of my car and its identified issues are wonderful, and helps me bring order and stability to my maintenance plan. Because of that, I am now letting them do my oil changes as well, since I know they will check on known issues and keep me appraised on the progression of those issues, highlighting anything that has moved from the "fix sometime soon" to the "fix immediately" stage. They are still ironing out some bugs in their online appointment system, so if you don't get a confirmation email from them within one or two days, be sure to follow up with a phone call so they can accommodate you. Overall, an outstanding shop that charges a reasonable price for highly skilled maintenance and honest advice, and great documentation customized to each specific car. Full marks, will recommend to anyone!

I brought my Nissan Maxima SV to AMC Automotive about two months ago for an oil change. With roughly 162,000 miles on the vehicle, I was also trying to determine whether additional repairs made sense or if it was time to purchase something newer. They inspected the vehicle and communicated everything clearly and honestly. Ultimately, I decided not to move forward with the additional repairs because the cost exceeded the value of the vehicle, but I appreciated that they gave me the information I needed without pressuring me or pushing unnecessary services. The oil change was completed in a timely manner, and their overall demeanor was refreshingly honest, professional, and communicative. I would certainly recommend AMC Automotive LLC.
